I do apologize for being gone so long from the Blog, The house is near completion and we are going to set a date, it will not change and it will not be canceled. I PROMISE! Our first meeting will be April 14th at 6:00pm. We will have munchies and stuff to drink. If you are interested in coming please email me at duskredsnow@gmail.com and I will give you details about everything.
Our first meeting will be a general meet and greet, I will hand out a syllubus and a calander and get a feel for what all of you would like to study and learn and work it in. I am going to start with the basics and then get more in depth. I am also going to be starting a Coven BOS (Book of Shadows) I will keep a copy of all the lessons there and any projects we do here. Since it's the first meeting you don't have to bring anything. Just a so you all know Sky and I do have three dogs they are all big babies. Scout is a retired Guide dog and 9 years old, Eros is a year old boxer and Mia is a 4 month old boxer. They are all spoiled rotten but is anyone does object they can be put outside or in their kennels. This is not a problem just let me know, i know everyone isn't a dog lover.

Yule and Christmas
That crazy time of the year is winding down, presents have been exchanged and everyone smiles from happiness, and togetherness. Our Yule was a simple one, presents in the bedroom with the kids and dogs, watched a movie or two and had a microwave/grilled dinner. Nothing was wrapped, but we did a have a little tree. It was nice though and next comes new years eve, the house is coming along we had walls and heat from christmas so that was wonderful!!!!!
There were two things that I saw this year that made me smile. The first was a gentleman who brought a Salvation Army bell ringer a cup of hot chocolate on one of the bitter cold days we had. It's not often that people think about those standing there to ring the bell. They are volenteers taking the time to stand in the cold for a few hours to help those less fortunate.
The second event was when i was leaving walmart and an older gentleman came in riding on of that electric carts. He was dressed in red pants, black boots, a red jacket with white fur trim, but the part that really made him St. Nick was the beard, it as long, white, and real. Children flocked to him and he laughed and spoke with each one, their mothers watching unsure and neverous. Yet when the kids walked away their moms smiled just as big as the kids. He caught my eye just for a minute and we smiled at each other. At least for another year those kids would believe in Santa.
Please feel free to share your holiday experiences and stories.

Incense holders on a Budget
If you are looking for inexpensive incense or want to experiment with it you can pick up some nice smelling kinds at Walmart cone or stick for a dollar a box and there are quite a few in there, they also carry sick holders for $5 and fancy cone holders for $10 I got a really cool dragon one today where the smoke comes out of a five headed dragons ears and mouths. Very cool. Stick and Cone Incense also available for a dollar a pack here also.
